Similar Titles: Emma Dilemma
Plot: Emma just happens to have yet another dilemma. Her pet ferret is missing and she needs him for school tomorrow. Emma has a presentation on ferrets and she plans to take her ferret Marmaduke to school with her… the only problem is that she hasn't exactly asked for permission. Emma's family is also supposed to be getting a new nanny and Emma isn't sure what kind of a nanny she will be. Soon enough Emma takes Marmaduke the ferret to school where he bites a boy in her class. Now the teacher wants to talk to her mother, but Emma didn't ask for permission and doesn't know what to do. How will Emma get out of this dilemma?
Personal Thoughts: I thought this book was hilarious. The mischief that goes on in Emma's world is just typical of a girl who is curious and precocious at the same time. The book was a quick read and is part of a series. Both boys and girls would enjoy reading this as it is about lessons learned while trying to get out of scrapes.
